Kolkata: West Bengal Police have recovered a large weapons cache in Bankura state forests. The discovery of the weapons was made before bypolls to 10 seats in the assembly on Saturday.
Police sources said 18 kilos of RDX, three rocket launchers, pistols, and one of the landmines were recovered from the forest area.
The State has been on high alert after the discovery. So far, police have not made any arrests.
Police did not specify whether the arms were for Naxals.
