Ray Lewis angry over Brady Quinn for a bad shot during the game. Brady Quinn has been seriously criticized by Ray Lewis for his bad shot in the game as it injured Terrell Suggs. Brady Quinn was penalized as well.
The incident happened during Monday night’s match between Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. When during the match interception was thrown in the third quarter, Brady Quinn tried to chase the interceptor. During the chase, he made a dive and stroke with outside linebacker Terrell Suggs. He hit the knee of the Suggs and injured him. The bold dive by Brady Quinn earned him a 15-yard penalty given by the game officials and serious criticism from Ray Lewis.
His shot was labeled as ‘cheap’ by All-Pro linebacker Ray. Talking to the media Ray said that his move and defensive dive at the quarterback even when he (the quarterback) didn’t even have any ball was ‘cheap’ move by the player. He also said that Quinn should be fined as well as banned from the game for four to five weeks. In a statement to The Associated Press Ray Lewis said, ‘I want to see if he gets the same fine I got or even higher.’
Brady Quinn on the other side told the media that he didn’t hit/injured Suggs intentionally. He said that Suggs came in front of him in last seconds. He also said that he has remorse over the injury his dive caused and apologized from Suggs for the hit.
