Cranberry Relish Recipe, that I am going to tell you is full of vitamins, essential minerals and fiber. Cranberries are full of natural goodness and are great in fighting infections especially urinary tract Infections. In fact many vitamin companies are selling dried powdered cranberry capsules as a natural adjunct to ward off UTIs and STIs. Cranberry Relish Recipe that follows is also heart friendly if you use alternate sugar like Stevia sugar. Fiber in the recipe is also good for colon and stomach health.

Ingredients:

3-cups fresh cranberries

3- fresh apples

1- orange (extract the seeds but do not remove the peel it would add to the taste of the recipe)

½- cup refined sugar (Stevia is much sweeter than sugar, so add little and then check the taste before adding more of it)

Cut the orange into slices with its peel on. Cut the apple into small pieces. Manual grinder is best for the recipe, but it would be a hassle to find one these days so you can use food processor. Mix the pieces of apple, orange and cranberries. Put the mixed fruits into the grinder. It is important that you do not over grind the mixed fruits. Grind them to the point that where you get coarse mixture of the fruits.

Put the ground fruits in a large dish and sprinkle sugar on the fruits. Sugar would dissolve after half an hour to give you the perfect Cranberry Relish that is best to go with Turkey and sandwiches.
