Shawne Merriman Arrested For Allegedly Choking Tila Tequila. O snap! San Diego Charger Shawne Merriman was arrested early this morning for battery and false imprisonment. And the alleged victim is everybody’s fave sexed up attention hungry reality chick Tila Tequila. According to Fox Sports:
Police got a call at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday from a woman who claimed to have been choked and restrained by a male at a home on Sagecrest Drive in Poway.
“Nguyen told deputies she had been choked and physically restrained by Merriman when she attempted to leave his residence,” Public Information Officer Jan Caldwell said.
Merriman was charged with battery and false imprisonment.
Nguyen was transported to Pomerado Hospital and Merriman was taken into custody by Sheriff’s deputies.
This is crazy. He just signed a 5-year, $11.5 million contract as well. What’s interesting is that homegirl Tweets every 5 seconds to the point where I’ve been wanting to unfollow her. But she hasn’t Tweeted in almost 24 hours. And one of her last ones was a ReTweet of Shawn’s:
