The UK government has announced suspension in taking visa applications from North Indian students. The UK officials said as many as 13,000 visa applications have been submitted by north Indian students. The UK high commission in India Richard Steig has said that wrong usage of visa would not be allowed, adding that the ban was temporary.

JAFARABAD, Pakistan News: A bomb went off in a busy market at Sohbat Poor area of Balochistan, killed two and wounded at least 12 people. β€œIt was a remote-controlled blast that took place in a market near bus stand at the highway,” officials said, adding that the explosive device was planted on a bicycle. KARACHI: Motorway police conducted a sting operation on Super Highway and recovered four minors from a bus plying from Karachi to Punjab, Geo News quoted Motorway police saying late Friday night. The motorway police officials said these children could have been employed in the terror-related activities in the country. The children are aged from five to nine years.

NEW DELHI: At least seven people were killed and 40 others were feared trapped after a bridge collapsed in western India, officials said Friday. The accident happened late Thursday when the bridge under construction over the Chambal river in the state of Rajasthan collapsed, local district administrator T Ravikant told media. “Several injured people have been brought to hospital,” he said
